Foaming agents are surface—active organic substances that are adsorbed mainly on the liquid-gas interface. The purpose of foaming agents is to promote the formation of air bubbles with certain properties in the pulp volume, and a sufficiently stable foam layer of the necessary structure on the pulp surface.
